I surprised the children with an early Christmas present today, an adorable hamster. You can see just how stunned and excited they were on the pictures below.

The big reveal...
Everybody chose a name for the hamster and we picked out 5 at random...
Each child then voted for the name they like the best...
This was the result and so our pet hamster is now named LUCKY!
I think she is very 'lucky' to have a class full of kind and caring children to look after her! :-)
The hamster is so cute because it always hides in its new bed.
