Class contract

In order to set clear expectations about behaviour and behaviour for learning the children were given the task of working in a small group to create a set of class rules. 

First they watched a cartoon video all about rules and manners...

Then they set to work first discussing their ideas and then recording in words, sentences and pictures.

Then they presented their posters to the rest of the class, reading out one important rule each.

Lots of their ideas were the same! 

We collated the most important rules to form our class contract.
