We are very lucky to be taking part in forest school sessions with Danny from The Comunitree Initiative this term. Each Tuesday morning we will go deep into the woods of Summerseat to 'The Island'. The class has been spilt into two groups and the group not attending will stay in school for a PE session with a sports coach and a cookery lesson with Miss Crooks. After a few weeks the groups will swap over.
First week at the island... Learning about the boundaries and fire circle rules, games, exploring the island, a scavenger hunt, storytelling and hot chocolate!! Phew! What a busy morning!! It was an absolutely amazing experience and we all really enjoyed it and can't wait to go back next week...
