Lend Me Your Literacy

This year we will be participating in a scheme to enhance writing development called 'Lend Me Your Literacy' (LMYL). It serves to give children a real purpose and audience for their writing.

I will choose pieces of work to upload to the website and then authors and teachers from all over the world can view the work and leave a comment.

For the first creative write the children who had visited the woods wrote about the story Danny told us about the magic ring lost in the woods of Summerseat. The rest of the children used the LMYL website 'photo of the day' and writing prompt provided. The whole class were inspired and very eager to get writing!!

Our first published author was extremely proud to see her work online! Her story accompanied the photo of the day - 'Honey I Shrunk the Kids'.

So remember, always try your best...you could be the next published author in year 3/4!

Then 'The Magic Rainbow Ring' was also published! :-)
